FAIR hosted its Fifth Annual Awards Gala on September 28, 2017 at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort to recognize and honor our industry’s outstanding leaders whose contributions have made a tremendous impact of the lives of every property owner in Florida.
The Annual Awards Gala has become a highly anticipated gathering of leaders representing the spectrum of the property and casualty insurance industry, the Florida legislature, local government and other influential consumer groups. This year more than 200 guests joined us for an evening of networking and celebration of the achievements of our peers.
In addition to the presentation of awards, Demotech President and Founder Joe Petrelli provided a keynote address sharing wisdom gained from his more than forty years of experience in property and casualty actuarial and financial analysis and offered his insights on what’s ahead for Florida.
We are proud to announce that a portion of all proceeds from the Awards Gala are helping support the educational mission of the FAIR Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to creating safer, more resilient and energy efficient communities through education, mitigation and insuring uninsured risk.
